Restoration 154, Inc is a nonprofit started in Elba, Alabama by individuals holding the belief that together much can be accomplished. Its name was inspired by the 154 mile long Pea River, which passes through downtown Elba and serves as a constant reminder that what starts as a trickle can become a powerful force. Restoration 154 has a vision of bringing people together through projects that will have a significant and positive impact on the community. The lofty goal of identifying and developing 154 of these projects, one for each mile of the Pea river, was set with the idea that helping one's community should be a lifelong endeavor.
